Super Bowl Halftime Honors AARP... Again

Geezers or Gorgeous...you make the call.
It's not good when the halftime show stage outclasses the act. The Who was relevant nearly a generation ago. Not one hit in 25 years--or so it seems. My daughter and her friend scratched their heads while Luby's discount patrons Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend wheezed around the stage. The show just made me feel...old. At least they didn't break a hip. And the drummer was a sad replacement for the late crazed Keith Moon. Just wondering what criteria the NFL uses to select their penultimate band besides listening to Classic rock.
Thinking it's about time to embrace all TV viewers and select an act that's current. My choice? The Black Eyed Peas. Lots of hits, Fergie is hot and the group would definitely get the place rockin. Plus my daughter and friends know who they are.
