Return to Blog   Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 Less Pepper on GolfChannel I use to get on Dottie Pepper when she began her golf broadcasting career. She was too careful, too obvious with the observations and way to deferential to her male counterparts. But she turned into an astute and refreshingly honest analyst. But her schedule has her working some 35 events between NBC and GolfChannel events and that's apparently too much.  So, she'll concentrate on the NBC gig. Her "choking freaking dogs" comment about the American Solheim Cup team remains a classic in golf broadcasting. Rick Arnett
