Kierland Golf Club offers 27 holes, all designed by Scott Miller. The three nines – Ironwood, Acacia and Mesquite – have their own personality. Acacia is the scenic nine, while Mesquite is the toughest side and Ironwood is a splendid mix of both beauty and brawn.
What’s In a Name?
Each hole at Kierland has a unique name that either describes the hole or preps you for what’s to come. Names like “Hidden Den”, “Imagine” and “El Camino Diablo” let you know to expect a grand time at Kierland. Monikers such as “Big Dry Wash” and “Three Bunkers” tell you danger lurks ahead.
Off-Course Sensations
Kierland offers the best and most unique ways to beat the heat. The driving range sports a mobile awning with misters spraying water that easily cools you off while warming up or honing your game. Also, each cart at Kierland comes with an air conditioning system for both the driver and passenger.

Acacia No. 9. Not only is this the prettiest hole at Kierland, this could be the prettiest hole in all of Phoenix. The par-5 ninth has it all – elevation changes, emerald green fairways, the resort in the backdrop, a statue in the middle of a tranquil lake. If you’re looking for a postcard shot of your experience at Kierland, this is it.

South Shore Bliss
Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course is located on the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe and on the border of Nevada and California. The course is just a wedge shot from the casinos that line U.S. Highway 50, and hugs the lake on the opposite side. Designed by George Fazio, Edgewood Tahoe opened for play in 1968.
Be the Paparazzi!
Every July, Edgewood Tahoe plays host to the American Century Celebrity Championship. This event is the best opportunity to take pictures and get autographs of major sports celebrities, actors and other famous names. This year’s field includes Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Troy Aikman and Oscar De La Hoya.
What a Finish!
No matter if you’re a celebrity, scratch golfer or occasional hack, you’ll fall in love with Edgewood Tahoe’s closing holes. The 17th is a dazzling par-3 that plays alongside the pristine lake, while the par-5 18th is an outstanding risk/reward par-5. And that water hazard in front of the 18th green is Laimbeer’s Lake, named after the former NBA player.

Brooks’ Bar and Deck is the perfect place to have a post-round drink and decompress after a day on the links. Golf Digest tabbed Brooks’ as one of the best 19th Holes in the country. And during the American Century Celebrity Championship, it’s the perfect place to hobnob with the celebrities.
What You’ll Remember Most
If you come in July, it will most definitely be the atmosphere of the celebrity event. If you come any other time, it’s the majestic views of the lake and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Edgewood Tahoe is a splendid venue for golf. The memories of being here will last a very long time.
